Tombstone Begins: story and setting
‘The part they don’t tell ya’: Nolimit City pitches this as the beginning, before Tombstone had a name worth fearing. The town is just cowboys and cattle. Outlaws including El Gordo fight over gold-rich land, each hoping to make a name that lasts. Tombstone Begins is where the first shot rings out.
The series began with Tombstone on 2 May 2019, and Tombstone R.I.P followed on 11 January 2022. Where R.I.P capped wins at 300,000x, this prequel stops at 20,000x. In exchange, its rules are rebuilt around revolvers and respins.
How it plays, summarised from the studio’s description
- Win respins
- A win triggers a respin with the winning symbols and every instance of them held in place. Each newly held symbol adds a respin, and the win pays when no respins are left.
- Revolver symbols
- They land on any reel with 3 to 6 bullets and fire one per spin. A bullet can turn a symbol Wild, double its multiplier (xSplit) or upgrade it to a higher symbol. Others switch on an xNudge Wild or add xNudge multipliers of 2x, 3x, 10x or 100x, which stack.
- Unleash and Refill
- Unleash makes every revolver fire all remaining bullets at once; Refill reloads every revolver to six. Each lands at most once per spin.
- Three bonus tiers
- Three bonus symbols give 6 Gunslinger Spins (+1 per extra symbol; xNudge multipliers carry over). Four give 8 Outlaw Spins with fully loaded revolvers. Five give 10 Widowmaker Spins, where revolvers empty all their bullets.
- Extra Spin
- When a bonus ends you may be offered an extra spin that keeps the xNudge multipliers. Its price is set from those multipliers and it is offered only when it costs no more than the total win.
- Vengeance
- If the total win passes 20,000x, the round ends and 20,000x is paid.

Reading the numbers
- A volatility figure of 17.58 is the lowest among the Nolimit City games in this library. Its rating, EXTREME, sits one step below INSANE. By ordinary slot standards it still means very wide swings.

- The priciest booster, Revolver Mayhem, costs 999x the base bet. What each booster guarantees is in the cost table below.
