SpinMath

How SpinMath checks a number

SpinMath analyses slots using only the figures studios publish in their rules. It starts from the premise that no method predicts a result, and calculates only what each choice costs and how much risk it carries. This page lists the order in which sources are used, the formulas, the corrections policy, and the absence of any financial tie to a studio or casino.

Where SpinMath started

SpinMath began as a record of opening each game first-hand for a blog post. The values the studios’ official demo servers send back when a game loads were fetched directly, then laid next to the rule sheets and SNOW’s game pages (viewed logged out). The specs table at the top of every game page, with a source on each line, is what came out of that comparison.

Source order

  • First: the studio’s official game page and rules PDF; for Mental II, Nolimit City’s.
  • Second: independent references such as SlotAtlas, used only to cross-check release dates and option RTPs.
  • Reference only: what a casino’s game page displays. It is recorded as shown, blanks included, but never used as the basis for a figure.
  • Game library: for Pragmatic Play, the official game pages and news releases plus the response its official demo server sends when a game opens (RTP by mode, max win and frequency, paytable, buy costs); for Nolimit City, the data on its official game pages (RTP split, volatility index and rating, frequencies, booster costs). Volatility a studio does not publish is marked as unpublished, never estimated.
  • Where sources disagree, the first source wins and the gap is noted in the text.

Formulas

  • Expected loss = stake × spins × (1 − RTP)
  • Chance of no bonus = (1 − 1/average interval)^spins, assuming independent spins
  • Option cost = base bet × multiplier, using the multiplier in the rules
  • All of these are long-run averages; on a high-volatility game, real sessions stray far from them.

What the site will not publish

  • Unsupported ‘systems’ based on patterns, timing or streaks
  • Bonus codes or referral links
  • In the Japanese edition, the name, link or sign-up steps of any site where the game can be played

When a figure is wrong

If a studio revises its rules or a calculation error is confirmed, the table and the calculator are fixed together and the ‘figures checked’ date is updated. Changed numbers are logged below.

  • First publication: Mental II’s nine options and four RTP settings (2026-11-02)
  • Game library added: six Pragmatic Play and four Nolimit City slots, with hub and studio pages (2026-11-02)

Conflicts of interest

None. SpinMath has no affiliate deal with Nolimit City, SNOW or any operator, and takes no advertising, referral fees or placement money, so it has no motive to call an option good value.

Images

The gear at the top of the Korean and English pages is not a real machine. It is a generated picture with the SNOW logo added. Share cards, spec cards, charts and the data clip are drawn by SpinMath from studio figures. The SNOW images are crops of the information area of logged-out game pages. Images drawn by SpinMath may be quoted freely with a link to the page they appear on.
